Infectious Disease Research, Infection Prevention & Hospital Epidemiology
Dr. Philip Robinson is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Infectious Disease with over 30 years of experience. Dr. Robinson currently serves as the Medical Director of Infection Prevention and Hospital Epidemiology, as well as the Chair of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian and Hoag Orthopedic Institute in Orange County, California.
He is focusing on infection prevention and clinical research related to the development of therapeutics and vaccinations, serving as the principal investigator for over 25 infectious disease related clinical trials.
Research & Publications
In partnership with Hoag Hospital, Dr. Robinson's clinical research interests include infection prevention, antimicrobial stewardship, vaccine development, laboratory diagnostics and therapeutics.
